Test Directions
The CAT·3 Constructed Response Mathematics Test Directions include instructions for yourself to be read before administering the test, and instructions that you will read aloud to students during the administration.
Key points for administration:
- Students should have access to a calculator.
- There is an amount of time set for the test, but students may take a few additional minutes to complete their work if they are close to completion when the time is up.
- It is expected that most students will complete their work on the paper provided; however, additional paper may be provided a student when more is needed. Additional sheets should be stapled inside the Student Worksheet.
